Question 1

How does online counselling work?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are held via a secure video platform, so you can connect from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a reliable internet connection. Sessions run for 50 minutes.

Question 2

Do you offer a free consultation?

Accepted Answer

Yes — I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can chat about what you're experiencing and whether counselling with me feels like the right fit. There's no obligation to book.

Question 3

What is attachment-based counselling?

Accepted Answer

Attachment-based counselling explores how your early relationships with caregivers have shaped the way you connect with others today. By understanding your attachment style — whether anxious, avoidant, or secure — you can begin to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Question 4

Do you work with couples as well as individuals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I work with individuals (particularly women) and couples online across Australia. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method tools to help partners reconnect and communicate more effectively.

Question 5

Are you a registered counsellor?

Accepted Answer

I am an ACA-accredited counsellor (Australian Counselling Association) with diplomas in Counselling, Positive Psychology, and Art Therapy, and training in EFT, ACT, and Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2). I am currently completing a Bachelor of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
